From the Author
Here are some reviews that appeared in the print media:
"Frank Scoblete's fresh analysis of the age-old game of roulette is outstanding and is a must read for those who enjoy the numbers. Scoblete has the unique ability to instruct and inspire at the same time. His wit and wisdom are the keys to his success as a casino gaming writer. Spin Roulette Gold is the best roulette book ever written."
..Walter Thomason, gaming columnist and author of The Experts' Guide to Casino Games and Blackjack for the Clueless.
"Spin Roulette Gold: Secrets of Beating the Wheel. , like all Scoblete's work, is fun as well as informative. The meat of his book, though, is based on having recorded 10,000 spins of real roulette wheels. That includes 3,800 spins of a single wheel. The point is to look for biased wheels. Scoblete also takes a look at section-shooting dealers, dealer signatures and one of my favorites, chameleon play. Spin Roulette Gold is a complete handbook for the player who likes roulette, wants to learn about playing methods and have a little fun at the same time."
.John Grochowski, gaming columnist and author of The Casino Answer Book
"Frank Scoblete's Spin Roulette Gold is by far the most informative and intelligent book about roulette ever written. If you're interested in a thinking man's or woman's approach this is for you. "
.John Brokopp, gaming columnist, The Daily Southtown

Frank Scoblete has written many books on casino gambling but I think this one could be his best because he shows how to approach a game that supposedly can't be beaten. I love the strategies in this book but the one I love the most is the chamelion strategy. If you are an intelligent roulette player this book has what you are looking for. It has a clear analysis of the game and the various betting systems that have been tried against it. It also shows how to find biased wheels and dealers who might be sector shooting. Still I love the chamelion strategy and it has worked big time for me.

Spin Roulette Gold is a comprehensive analysis of roulette that shows you various ways to approach winning strategies. Frank Scoblete is an easy writer to read because he has a good style. This is a great book for beginners and advanced players as it takes you stepby step through the odds, various betting systems and various advantage-play methods. Scoblete knows his subject thoroughly.
Great book, I read it from cover to cover in one-go, October 8, 2001

What I like best about "Spin Roulette Gold" is the honesty by Frank Scoblete. He is stating that if you play roulette for the long run you will loose money because of the edge that the casino has over the gambler. However Frank describes different techniques to get the most for your dollar worth. Some of the techniques are basicly describing how to delay the speed of your game to get the most excitement and prolonging your time at the table.
Although the book covers more on the american roulette wheel enough time is spend on the European roulette wheel (with only single-zero)for the ideas and techniques to be transposed.

I am totally new to the roulette game and this book (chosen on the merits of readers review), is a must for all people wanting to profit from roulette.
This book does not boast amazing systems that will bank you a million. This book is a common sense way of approaching the enemy (casino) and hopefully putting the percentage in your favour. His methods require patience and alot of groundwork but this all pays divedends when you walk out of the casino with more money in your pocket than when you entered. Frank Scoblete guide's the gambler down the righteous path, if you stick to his rules you will win : Be greedy, foolish, impatient, ESP, then you WILL lose.
P.S. Frank if you read this, you are more than welcome to come to my house for coffee anytime.

I used the chameleon strategy that Scoblete wrote about and won five times in a row. Scoblete's book is just great and I think it's the best gambling book I ever read.

Frank Scoblete has written the best book about the game that I have ever read. It is complete and comprehensive. The two best roulette books around are this one and beating the Wheel by Russell Barnhart. Scoblete's book is overall the most comprehensive of any roulette book ever written and also a very enjoyable book to read. This is a must read for roulette players.
Great Strategies to Win a Game that "Can't Be Won", January 30, 1999

The author has a very readable and enjoyable style of writing. He does a great job of explaining the terrible-truth as to why all layout systems will fail in long-run play. But, he counters this with a very nice explanation of methods using wheel strategies, such as wheel-tracking and signature-tracking, that can actually work to overcome the house advantage.
This book is very worthwhile reading to anyone who seriously wants to play roulette and actually win. I highly recommend it.

Roulette can't be beaten by using regularl betting strategies. The author explains exactly why this is so. He then goes on to show how roulette can be beaten by using various methods such as wheel-tracking and signature-tracking techniques. The writing is crisp and clear and the author really understands his subject. I have read several roulette books but this is without a question the BEST.

Turning the tables on roulette?, August 8, 2004

If you really want to see a way to win at roulette - try this book. Serena's fourteen number groups seem to hit with monotonous regularity. She presents elegant and simple methods for bet selection, a logical money management strategy, and most importantly - a strict set of risk management rules that represent several 'layers' of safety. I have a background in mathematics, and until now I was of the opinion that the only way to 'beat' roulette (and I use the term loosely. ) was by creative application of the law of the third (and living with the timescale/return problems that this presents in actual practice). Having spent many hours manually crunching numbers with Serena's groups (using real table data), frankly I'm amazed.
I have only analysed the 14 number groups, but I can tell you (given my data so far - both on paper and with real money), that hits have occurred far more frequently than the expectations of normal probability. I can only assume that Serena is blessed with the kind of brain that is able to 'see' small patterns of repetition within large series that remain hidden to the rest of us. The key to applying this seems to be a 'hit and run' approach - and the 'rules of engagement' MUST be strictly adhered to. In addition all of the above, Serena Ng is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She has answered every last one of my curly little questions with patience and charm - sometimes even within minutes. Trust me - even if you were to get this book out of sheer curiosity and never apply any of it, dealing with Serena will restore your faith in human nature. Well done Serena. I salute your achievment, but even more so - your delightful attitude.

I've read and played so many systems but when I came across this book recommended by many people from a message board I though "It's so cheap what do I have to lose". I initially brought it because of the hype from others and thinking this can't be true especially at that price. Anyway ended up buying the book and contacted others all of which had some success. I couldn't understand why this isn't 1000 times more than what it is because it's made me many units since I've brought it. The author does not promise any paths to riches which is beyond me. It has been a path to my wealth and is the only thing I do. Everyone is different and I play at large units so each winning trip to the casino is enough to last me 1 month. I had no job and a family to support on no welfare so this has made ours lives so much better. I highly recommend.
